The program offers a stipend of $5,000, which can be used to cover expenses related to training, such as books, testing, and travel, as well as child or elder care. The stipend is paid out in three installments, with the first installment of $1,250 paid upon starting the training program, the second installment of $1,250 paid upon completing the training program, and the final installment of $2,500 paid upon completing six months of tenure in a Georgia long-term care facility. The CNA Workforce Enhancement Stipend Program is designed to help support and advance the careers of those pursuing nursing assistant roles in Georgia.
